A great buy
I was given a SanDisk MP3 Player as a gift over 10 years ago and it has served me well. Unfortunately, after I upgraded my computer I have been unable to load any new music, which is what prompted me to shop for a new MP3 player. I initially purchase an MP3 player that I thought would be comparable to SanDisk in features and price. However, I experience so much trouble with my computer recognizing the device, and when it finally recognized it, I experienced difficulty loading music to the player because I kept losing connection to my computer. I finally gave up and considered buying another SanDisk MP3 player, which is what I should have done in the first place. I must admit, I was surprised when I opened the SanDisk MP3 player box to see such a small player. My immediate reaction ... I was given a SanDisk MP3 Player as a gift over 10 years ago and it has served me well. Unfortunately, after I upgraded my computer I have been unable to load any new music, which is what prompted me to shop for a new MP3 player. I initially purchase an MP3 player that I thought would be comparable to SanDisk in features and price. However, in my case, I only use it to listen to music and it is serving me well. In fact, I am amazed and pleased by the sound quality. For me, the only downside is that there does not appear to be a way to add music to a playlist that I created. The only way I have found to do this is by creating a new playlist any time you want to add music. I called SanDisk customer support and they confirmed that my approach is the only option. All-in-all, a great buy for the money, and I don't regret my purchase! .

The unit cam without any instructions, yo you are left with a hit ot miss guide of what each button is suppose to do. The sound quality could definitely be better, I'm using Bose earbuds and they are not providing me with the sound quality that I'm use to on another unit.The SanDisk - Clip Jam 8GB* MP3 Player is the right size and it holds securely. This one requires making a folder on the computer and moving it to a folder on the SanDisk. It takes less loading time, but more choosing the songs time. Also, on the old player I could pick a genre to listen to. This one doesn't have that. There are few good improvements: The power switch isn't on top, so it doesn't turn off when I go to clip it to my belt or pants pocket. And the music eq is easier to adjust. My old SanDisk was easier to load playlists. All I had to do was sync with Windows Media Player and I could listen to mt playlists. My 4th Sandisk clip
I have older Sandisk clips, and I've been very happy with them. I love the size, and capacity of the Clip jama. I also like the FM radio, and I often walk around the house wearing my clip and listing to NPR. THIS NEW CLIP JAM is very easy to operate, and the battery is longer lasting than my older clip.

I like to listen to music or meditations in bed at night, the size is perfect. Bought this to replace a CD player that was on its last leg. I love that I do not have to plug the Sandisk into an outlet, do not have to buy batteries, can recharge by plugging into my computer, charge lasts a long time Found the User Manual on a Google search. Took a little bit of practice but I can easily load music, switch from music to radio and back. Just plugged it into my computer, it immediately showed up on Windows Explorer, copied/dragged recordings to the Sandisk. Could then organize on the Sandisk.
