THE BAD The mounting screws were to tight and stripped from the factory, had to drill out out the screws and buy all new bolts from my local hardware store, took forever but I didn't feel like the hassle of having to send back THE GOOD they sound great and are extremely loud all in all I'm happy with them

    Rockville 8" wake board speakers

    I was surprised how large they are very good quality for the price. Excellent sound and no amp required. The only issue I had was mounting them to my 1980 CJ 5 roll bar. The brackets are larger than normal wakeboard roll bar clamps but they were still to small, but 3 dollars at home depot with some longer screws they mounted fine. Overall very satisfied and wanted other jeep owners to have enough information on the speakers as well.

    Good inexpensive speakers!

    Good inexpensive speakers for my RZR. These are bigger than they look in pictures. Sound quality is decent. I have a small amp powering them. So I can't say how they'd handle something bigger like they're rated for. Overall I'm satisfied.

    Rockville speakers RWB80B 8 inch marine

    Work well,ez mount, poor design on the screws,had one spinning when trying to remove, you can't get a wrench or socket on the nut because it is recessed for removal,I went to Lowe's and purchased some 3/4 aluminum spacers ,after jamming the smallest flat screwdriver in and against the nut ,I finally got it to bust loose for removal, put the spacers in to move the nuts out away from the recesses so I could put a wrench on it in case I need to remove,other than this this speakers work great, a little larger than expected, but for the price ,can't complain,buy these speakers for your got cart or wakeboard!

    AWESOME for MUSIC!

    Installed these in my 2011 Wrangler JKU. I bought four, but after installing two and using a Rockville 300w amp, two is enough. LOUD and crystal clear! They round-out the sound system perfectly, as they reach into the midrange frequencies with no issues. They give that extra "thump", but not really a lot of rumbling bass like a subwoofer would give. They give the music a more concert-like appeal, especially acoustic guitars and vocals. I have the other two sitting in my garage and I'm thinking of using them on my pool deck. They're AWESOME speakers for the person that likes clean, full music. If all you're looking for is BASS, this ain't it. These are for MUSIC.
