Unfortunately, this product didn't function as advertised. It appeared to be a new DVD and arrived sealed. However the first movie would not play. It was like it had never been burned to the DVD. All others worked fine. I advise the seller and he provided a return label and refunded the purchase price. Since this was a newly sealed DVD, I don't hold the seller responsible, as it must have arrived from the manufacturer this way. The seller was happy to make things right, so I'd buy again.

Multiple Spirits, One Marathon
The film is a documentary that follows a half dozen or so people from different athletic backgrounds getting ready to run the Chicago Marathon. There are first time marathoners, elites, boston qualifiers and everything in between. The video starts a few months prior to the marathon and goes through each persons story and catches up with them during various points of their training. It's great to see other peoples aspects of marathoning, especially elites, first timers and season vets. The film does have a certain sense of emotionality because not everyone is successful. If you're thinking about running your first marathon, or forget what it felt like to do it the first time, I highly recommend this movie. I often watch various portions during my training as a motivational DVD, to ... Outstanding video
This is an excellent documental; It invites everyone to know (no matter if you are a runner or not) the implications in this marvelous sport. Different goals in different runners make this DVD very special; the images it contains are an outstanding effort to show what a runner feel in the training toward the competition and the great day where 26.2 miles seem to be impossible. The music in all video is great too. I recommend this product widely.This is an excellent documental; It invites everyone to know (no matter if you are a runner or not) the implications in this marvelous sport. This documentary inspired me to keep running.
I started running for 8 to 9 months. I participated in a few 5K & 10K races and I've taken love to run. I identify with some of the people they interviewed. This documentary inspired me to keep running. I've seen it twice and I see it again. I am waiting Spirit of the Marathon II on DVD.

Good movie about marathoning - not as good as I hoped.
I had heard great reviews about this movie and had high expectations. I thought that it was alright. I wasn't as inspired as I was hoping. A year ago I watched the marathon movie made by Nova Science and found that much more inspiring.
