I like the toaster. It's a nice slimmer version then my old one. Yes all the new toasters seem to have more plastic material then the one I'm replacing. I think that's just the way things are made these days. It foes work. You have to have it closer to 3 to have the perfect toast. I had it on 4 and it burned the bread. Good choice.
