    Nice Lense

    I recently bought this lens and so far am thrilled with it. I've used it to photograph flowers, dogs and ducks on the pond. It is light and carrying the camera and lens during my morning walk doesn't wear me out like the DSLR and telephoto. Handy lens to have.

    A smooth, versatile lens

    This is the kit lens supplied with most of the Olympus micro four-thirds cameras. It is wonderfully matched to those cameras, and except for the most demanding of applications, easily substitutes for a bag full of primes. Image quality is very good throughout the zoom range. Chromatic aberrations are well-controlled, and what little distortion there is is well-compensated for through in-camera processing. Lens flare and ghosting are virtually non-existent — one has to deliberately point the lens at a light source to get those effects. Out-of-focus quality is smooth, if unremarkable. The automatic focussing works quickly and accurately. Like most zoom lenses, it's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. It also isn't the fastest, and there are times when one would like to be ...

    Will look for other product

    Great Lens! The size and usefulness is a value to my camera. I wanted to have a lens that could be the main lens and have a variable focal length. that way I would keep the camera set up simple. I would think this Micro four thirds would be a great addition to anyone.

    Impressive little lens

    I really like the image quality of this lens. and for the price its a no brainer. I got it for the price and range and am keeping it for the image quality. not a fan of the little barrel lock but not a big deal.
