Quality sound, if a bit small
We get actually good sound out of this amp, but not a lot of it. I have to crank them up higher than i would like to keep from having to push my faders all the way up. We use lots of channels on our board and I try to keep the gains set low so as not to push the mix into clipping. Even with judicious pans and gains, I have to be careful not to push too much aggregate. So the signal needs some help from the amp — and this one is adequate. So, overall, A on sound quality; A+ on price, B on power.We get actually good sound out of this amp, but not a lot of it. This amplifier gives you plenty of bang for the buck! The cooling fan does run a little on the loud side, but still, you wont find a better amp for under $100!
