    Only ishue it lacks Wi-Fi

Makes great stand-alone SACD player highly recommend to audiophiles. Not a great Blu-ray and streaming device do to the lack of most modern streaming services Videophiles look elsewhere.

  • Very good Blu-ray player for the money 4.5 stars

I love the Netflix and free Pandora music. The sound quality is excellent the picture quality is very good. I have the ethernet hard wired to the back of the Sony DVD player. Im not a fan of wireless connections. I would rate the blu-ray DVD pic quality comparaable to the HD signal I get with my roof-top antenna on my TV (a vibrant, unncompressed signal). I am using a Toshiba 42" LCD 120HZ TV with an HDMI cable. Pros: Fast load times, sleek design Cons: I wish remote had full ABC keypad. You can't go wrong for $105. Happy viewing! Peter Buffalo, NY

  • Satisfied with product.

I purchased this refurbished and I have found over many of my past purchases that I have had very good luck with refurbished items. I really like the slim design of this blu-ray player. The picture and sound is awesome and it easily played a couple of blu ray discs that I was having problems playing in my previous player. I haven't connected to internet so don't know how that works. The only drawback I found is the response time to my remote selections. I have to wait at least 15 seconds between selections otherwise it is not responsive. If you don't mind that inconvenience then it is a great buy.

  • Sony BDP-S370 Blu-ray player

This is 2010 Sony model; it is Sony's entry level player; lowest price of its 3 models. Very easy to hook up using HDMI cable; my Samsung hdtv does not require its remote to play a dvd; when you turn the player on, the tv is ready for the movie without selecting the source. Great picture on both blu-ray and dvd moview. Also I wanted the Netflix ability to watch movies; I hooked up cat5 cable from my wireless modem and only 2 steps to set up to watch Netflix movies. The instructions were not perfect on this. The player has "quick start" feature for blu-ray disc, but I turne dit off since the player was "warm" all the time; the manual staees this. Overall a very good player with basic features. The remote is very good also.

  • Good purchase!

I got this player for I wanted to play Blu-ray discs and take full advantage of my HD TVs. I honestly haven't used it a lot yet but it's worked fine for me. The menus are not hard to learn. Dislikes: The remote is so full of buttons, as most players'. They should do something to simplify them these days. Some disc versions I cannot play, maybe it has to do with the "zone". Most discs I play without any problem, though.
