    Digitizes VHS with only a little difficulty

    This does exactly what I needed it for: turning old VHS tapes into DVD's. I was a little disappointed that I needed a remote to complete the process, but that was easily solved with a $10 bill and a trip to CVS. The DVD menus that this recorded creates are pretty basic and not terribly beautiful, but it gets the job done without much oversight. Very happy with my purchase.

    bad so far - zero star

    I am strill trying to get it to work. I ordered a remote control separately but it still does not work. It is so disappointing. I am still going to research on the internet to see if there is a forum for this recorder.

    Awsome product if you could find this discontinued model!

    This product is outstanding since you have both a VCR and DVD recording and play back feature. This can be used to transfer a VHS recording to a DVD disc. The manufacturer no longer makes this model so I was fortunate to find one in excellent condition for less than half the price of an original new one.
