Not as impressive as they make it out to be. The package description claims that it has a 1000mw wi-fi amplifier built-in but I doubt that claim very much. I have a router/AP with 500mw power and the signal goes further than this one. That said, what is impressive is the 5Ghz range, I am getting almost 50 metres wi-fi signal away the "Wav." On the 2.4Ghz almost 67metres.

Product was DEFECTIVE, but to his credit, the vendor was very cooperative in refunding my payment. There seems to be quite a few BAD LOTS of these adapters coming from sweatshops in China making CHEAP KNOCKOFFS that fail to perform as advertised. In the past month, I've bought EIGHT of these from different vendors, and SEVEN turned up DEFECTIVE out of the package. Finally located a couple of vendors with the right stuff, but it took much trial & error and wasted time and money. ☻☻☻☻☻
