Great movie.
This movie is very good, has a lot to say. I love it. I received the disc with some scratches, and it actually froze in the middle of the movie. Luckily, I knew of a place that I could take it to get it buffed out and fixed.

Caught a few minutes of this film while waiting for a friend and liked what I saw enough to purchase the DVD. While this picture won't win any awards it does deliver solid entertainment for the money. Eminem's raw energy comes across vividly throughout the movie, his "take on the world & forget the pain" attitued captivates, and his domestic struggles allow the viewer to invest in his character. Simoltaniously one is afforded a glimpse into the trailerparks, unsafe streets, and underground night spots of Chi-town's hip-hop scene. Well directed, well cast, and well acted, this movie while never trying to be pretentous delivers solid entertainment.Caught a few minutes of this film while waiting for a friend and liked what I saw enough to purchase the DVD. I hadn't seen this movie since it came out in theaters and I forgot pretty much everything that happened in the movie until I saw it last month on TV. I loved this movie so much I ended up buying it. For someone that's not an actor or took lessons, Eminem is really amazing in this film. All the actors are. It's about a guy who lives at home with his mother trying to make it through life and earning respect in the rap community. It's loosely based on Eminem's life, there are a lot of good messages in this movie, and the fact that "Lose Yourself" won an Oscar says a lot. Doesn’t Work
i tried to play the movie right after i received it, and it literally didn’t work at all. wouldn’t even begin to play. i’m not too concerned because of the price but i do wish i wouldn’t have waisted my time with it.

A real surprise - this was good.
I am familiar with Eminem and his music. I like some of it - but am not a big fan, so I was not expecting a lot from this movie. But...it was good. The story is of Marshal Mathers'(Eminem's)life from his years back at home. A very well told story and he's a good actor too. Try this one out - you'll be surprised.
