We put the antenna in the attic. Pretty easy to install, but not great instructions. It works fantastic, we get 27 stations, even though I just wanted a few local channels for weather and news. Very clear and bright picture. Very sturdy. I tried a couple of other brands, none of them worked at all close to what this one does.
