    Great cookbook.

    I have tried the lavender blueberry banana bread - which was excellent. I plan to start making more of the recipes ASAP! Unless you are a professional chef and very sensitive to the flavors of lavender - you can get by without buying the 'provence' variety as Shipley recommends. I also use a mortar and pestal instead of a spice grinder. Saves on cost of an extra gadget and I really just like doing it by hand. Smells great. :)

    Food my family will actually eat!

    First I will tell you what this book is not.. This isn't a pretty picture book to put on your table. What it is...Well put together recipes that an average to well trained cook or chef will use! Recipes like,: Olive Lavender Country Bread, Creamy Honey Lavender Sauce, Oatmeal Cookie Bars with Lavender Fig Cheesecake Filling are among the few.
