Super sharp compared to the $99 40-150 lens. Big improvement in picture quality. Good in low light, very fast focus. A bit large and heavy but relative to full frame, it’s tiny!

This has been the most expensive lens to date for my Lumix G7, but I am not disappointed. Razor sharp and having 2.8 is awesome with the reach and flexibility. It is a big heavy duty lens, but it has a high quality feel that this is no toy. I was torn between getting this lens or the LUMIX 35-100 f2.8. The price was going to be close for both. I picked up he Olympus new on eBay for $995.00. The compact size of the Lumix 35-100, would be nice, but ultimately i wanted the flexibility of reaching 150mm .

Great lens, with a terrible, fragile, wobbly lens hood -- but can be replaced with the LH-76D hood used for the 100-400mm lens, so it's all good (just budget an extra $40 for a new hood). Works with 1.4x and 2x extenders.

Although this lens is a little larger than the typical micro 4/3s lens, the build quality, the reach (in full frame equivalent to 300 mm) and the bright f 2.8 with the very sharp image quality - hard to find fault with a lens like this.

It's what I was expecting, great lens that is small, lightweight, fast with great image sharpness.
