Got this for my wife who wanted a new hobby. Prior to the purchase, she had never used a sewing machine before. She watched a few videos on YouTube and was able to easily pick up the basics and presto, made face masks for every one on day one, day two made 12 pillow cases and day by day 3 had become quite familiar with the machine. This sewing machine is user friendly and works well for beginners and pros. This is money spent, if you need a good machine that is not too price, then this is the way to go.
