    Wish I had bought a newer model

    It's very slow feeding in the film and the resolution is poor in my opinion. I think it's faster to just load the film onto a template of a newer scanner- one that has better resolution and features. I feel I wasted $100 in this purchase. Regualar scans are ok on the flat bed itself.

    Epson 3590 scanner

    This was purchased on Ebay. The unit never worked properly, poor image quality and extensive problems with software until the unit quit completely. Epson tech support was unable to resolve issues and claimed the unit has a defective lens requiring replacement of the cover panel. Epson later advised that this product was discontinued due to undisclosed problems.
