    So far I have used it several times cutting 3/8's inch plate steel with no issues. Very easy to assemble, I had no power so I had to take the cover off and found a wire that was unplug, I fixed that and it worked great. I have some pretty extensive cutting to do in the next few weeks building a flat bed for my work truck. Great value, great hobbyist machine.

    Excellent choice for sheet metal work, but not much thicker.

    Electrical cord is too short. Depending on the job, it can be difficult to start because it has no pilot. Wish I had bought the one with the pilot. It cuts through sheet metal pretty good. I used it on 3/8 and it took a while and had to replace the tip just to cut one 4" piece of 3/8 iron. For the price, its a good starter machine. I recommend buying the one with the pilot.

    Great plasma for the price

    Works really good so far, used it about 10 times. I ruined the consumables second try, trying to blast out some rivets on a frame. quickly learned how not to use it. I purchased bulk consumables from china (they are all the same) I really haven't ruined any since. So that being said, for the price, it is a good deal. Just curious on its life.

    Awesome value

    This is my first plasma cutter. It works much better than I expected. This is a rare case when low price did not equate to a cheap product. Would recommend 2 areas for improvement. The power cord is only 4' long so it leaves the unit close to the outlet which can be inconvenient. The ground cord is only 6' long where the torch is 12' long, This again is an inconvenience more than anything else. Otherwise this unit works great. It can blast through material thicker than specified with relative ease.
