A Farming Adventure
Harvest Moon is an interesting foray into the world of farming. You start off with practically nothing and build up your farm by planting crops, selling them and buying more items and equipment in order to build up your property. As the game goes on you'll meet a wide cast of characters and perform a variety of tasks but most of the gameplay boils down to farming. What makes Harvest Moon endearing is the relaxed pace and freedom of it all. This is the perfect game to pop in on a rainy day and just grow some vegetables and raise your animals while just enjoying the overall setting of it all. My main gripe would be the price this game is going for nowadays. Would I recommend this game? Absolutely. For the current selling price? Not a chance in hell. Adorable, fun game.
A great game that teaches morals and the reward of hardwork in an adorable and fun environment. By whipping your late grandfather's farm you can grow to be a successful part of the small town life. Make friends with the townspeople and have fun participating in festivals and the like. Because of it's highly collectible nature as the first in the series, the SNES version has become quite a gem to be held in any Super Nintendo collection. I am proud to own one for mine, but if you're just looking for the gameplay, newer versions that provide a similar quality and better graphics can be found for much cheaper.A great game that teaches morals and the reward of hardwork in an adorable and fun environment. Harvest Moon is a simple yet charming game. You are given your grandpa's old farm and your goal is to make it prosperous in two years. In that time you can acquire cows, chickens, a dog, a horse, and possibly a family. This game set the theme for the series and also the facebook style games. I've loved this series for years and I hope to for many more.
