    Highly rated;good smple 12v system and lead acid battery tester

    Good tester for in car or out of car 12v lead acid /charging system and battery testing. I first looked at a couple of websites that make recommendations of these things. I'd never heard of the brand, but the more famous older brands (Schumacher etc) didn't seem to have anything small, modern and affordable. I heard this was the most complicated (for me, a good thing), but it's not really very complicated. I have used the off-car load test several times and it worked well. I gave the device 4 stars because I was hoping it would have some complicated alternate off-car tests, but I ddn't find that it does.

    It works great for me. I just had to read the instructions first because it does more than I thought. Reads a multitude of types of batteries and you have to program them in first to get the correct results.
