Thank you for the item. Arrived just as described in great new condition. This seller followed my wishes as far as shipping in a requested note in separate instructions just as I asked for. I certainly appreciate your extra care in packing, handling and protection. That's how it should be done! It helps against Media Mail damage. Excellent customer service and would love to do business with again anytime. I'm sure I will be back! Best experience. A+++ I really appreciate you and your care.

Received item in perfect working condition. I like getting items as advertised, without any surprises. Small business vendors can be 100 times better than big box corporations only worried about profit, over customer service. This vendor came through; thank you!

This Is Not A Review of The Contents; It's A Review Of The CD Itself

This may be the eighth copy of DSOM I have owned; and it may be the best (though some seriously-deluxe versions have been released since the release of this one in the '90s). There are two issues. One is major and the other minor. The worst thing about Mobile Fidelity products is their proprietary CD retention system. It very frequently cracks the CD. Get a new jewel case before it happens to you! The second is that there are no additional liner notes. I would love to have read about what went in to making this reissue as I am very curious about personnel and master tape sources and the like. That's it. This magnificent opus has been reviewed thousands of times. Time to review something new.

  • For collectionists!

This is a cd made of gold so it is attractive mainly to collectionists sound from this type of CDs might sound better for some listeners but if you just like to listen to music without being a fan of pink floyd you won't really find much of a difference! If you have the money to spend get it so you can have a collection of CDs made of gold, but if you are not really a fan, a regular cd will do the job and for way less money!

  • Simply MFSL from old good times

Gold CD from original masters, no "audio enhancements", no stupid digital EQ-lard, plays as from distribution tape (I know what I´m talking about - I heard it). Buy and keep, this a ultimate digital issue. Everything newest (remastered, SACD etc) is bad, bad, bad. Old MFSL rules. Again: Buy and keep.

  • GREATEST ALBUM ON EARTH BAR NONE ENOUGH SAID LISTEN

IN LIFE YOU HAVE TO EAT SLEEP POOP PAY TAXS AND OWN AT LEAST 1 COPY OF THE DARKSIDE OF THE MOON. Home, home again. I like to be here when I can. When I come home cold and tired It's good to warm my bones beside the fire. Far away across the field The tolling of the iron bell Calls the faithful to their knees To hear the softly spoken magic spells. Us, and them And after all we're only ordinary men. Me, and you. God only knows it's noz what we would choose to do. Forward he cried from the rear and the front rank died. And the general sat and the lines on the map moved from side to side. Black and blue And who knows which is which and who is who. Up and down. But in the end it's only round and round. Haven't you ...

  • A Must Have for a Pink Floyd Collection

The Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, 1990, is nothing short of fantastic. The CD begs for a quality sound system to show off it's wide ranges. It is one of those rare CDs which sound as good, though quite different, when played at low volume. In my humble opinion, this is the real transition album from the "Old" Pink Floyd in which Meddle, Atom Heart Mother and the under rated Ummagumma ruled the undergound FM radio.
