    Best GPS System

    This is my baseline by which I rate all other GPS guidance systems. For me it has been virtually flawless in th US, Mexico and Europe, and it gives useful information along the way, such as fueling stations, rest areas and much more. It is intuitive and quick to program once you understand the menu system .

    Decent GPS, gets the job done, but power connection had issues.

    I own several of these but bought this one primarily to use during our road trip to Europe. The device worked fine and seemed to be up to date on the roads we travelled. However, the connection between the cord and the unit was horrible and kept disconnecting. If you aren't checking on it all the time, you can easily keep driving and not realize that your battery was out and totally miss your turnoff. Also, there is no way to look ahead at your next couple of turns in written form. So-so on usability.

    great unit compares with much more expensive brands

    easy to use accurate as can be. Alternate routes are easy to follow and after initial start up programs pretty quickly. I like it!!!!

    Never lost in European cities again.

    The unit is fine, maybe needs a larger memory, I had to save the U.S. map to my computer in order to get the newest European map from Tom Tom. Having said this it really is not that large a problem to save the European map to my computer and put the newest U.S. back into it. I had the unit ready to go when I got my rental car in Europe and it preformed better than the Garvin units I have rented in the past from the rental agency. I did doubt the unit a couple of times as I turned of main roads into residential area's at its instructions, but it was just showing me a short cut. Glad I purchased it, it will pay for itself with one more trip.

    Great General Purpose GPS

    Had one for many years, always purchased Tom tom brand gps products. reliable and good company. Never had an issue getting to my destination whether it be by car or bicycle. Great product for the price.
