This printer has the ability to create four different print sizes - 3.5x5, 4x6, 5x7 and 4x8 photo greeting cards at fast speeds. The UP-CX1 uses Sony's dye sublimation print technology so the results are long-lasting and professional. The UP-CX1 utilizes roll printing technology which allows for higher volume printing. Easy media replacement and a small footprint makes the UP-CX1 perfect for space-restricted areas. The UP-CX1 also features a Hi-Speed USB (version 2.0) interface which allows for the fastest image data transfer times.

    Sony UP-CX1 Photo Printer

    We purchased this prnter for our photo studio, mainly to print Christmas Cards. It makes great prints and the speed is amazing. The software for cards makes it really easy to set them up and gives you the choice of printing 1, 12 or 24 at a time. We can set up and print a set of 24 cards in less than 10 minutes for our customers. It has great flexability in fine tuning your prints. There are color and density adjustments and also adjustments for size and positioning your prints on the paper. We are now planning to do other events and things on-site since the operation is so easy and prints are so quick.

    Awesome machine

    It's used but performs great. Kinda noisy. Consumables are dye-sub rolls and paper. Don't think the motor or thermal print head experience must wear and tear with this design.

    Sony's lost

    Love this deal & the printer, which i had bought one when first introduce. it's a shame Sony folded on their line of printers & this one as well as the snap labs being great but the worst they've produce. : (
