Good product - except for high UV locations.
This boart cover fit my 1981 Montauk pretty well. It's of heavy construction and seems durable and likely (but I haven't tested) to be able to remain on the boat while on the road. It is an attractive blue. I would be delighted with the product if it weren't for a catch. The catch seems to be in UV resistance. I live in central California where the sun really beats down in July and August. I bought this in early July and put it on the boat about mid July. It is about five weeks later and I have noticed that it has already begun to fade to a lighter blue and the fabric may be weakening. The latter is hard to tell but this is a very common issue here for anything without excellent UV treatment and it always starts with sun bleaching. Fits the Boston Whaler 17' Montauk
Too soon to tell about durability, but seems to be of decent quality and we can say it fits the 17' Montauk, which was the goal. Seems to be a good deal for the price. Comes with a drawstring to tighten the cover onto the boat, and nylon straps with clips for under and over.
