This amplifier appears to be built very solid and looks like it would last a long time. I have choppy reception on 3 channels. They told me this would fix my problem. It did not. This amp performs exactly the same as the RCA amp that I bought for $30. After 3 weeks with this Clearstream, the power inserter failed and my reception went to zero on all channels. Luckily, I still had my trusty old RCA that I was able to reinstall. Reception is exactly the same with either amplifier. No different. I am now waiting on the replacement power inserter. We'll have to see how long the next one will last. This amplifier appears to be built very solid and looks like it would last a long time. I have choppy reception on 3 channels. Works flawlessly!
Purchased this Amplified and the VHF/UHF Retrofit antenna for my ClearStream 4 Antenna to turn it into the 4V. With this amplifier, I am able to pull in 58 channels with no more breaking up, from over 70 miles away! No problems with this after 1 month of use!
