    Such a wonderful addition to my kitchen.

    This is so fantastic. Even though I have the newer and larger Rival Crock pots, I purchased this because I found my Mother's original cookbook that came with one just like this from the early 1970's. In fact, I think she had bought one the first year they were out. I wanted to make the breads and cakes, like she use to. How amazing they are, and so easy. A regular cake mix, with pudding creates a cake that is so moist, a bit heavier than a regular oven baked cake, and tastes like home made. Batter bread is amazing, as is making banana bread. It is also nice to see this on the counter. Reminds me of MOM. This crock pot works beautifully!! I am very pleased!

    vintage crock pot works great

    I live at an elevation of 7544 ft. Water boils at 198 degrees. The newer crock pots are too hot for slow cooking. The older crock pots don't get above about 189 on low. This one works great!

    Great find, great value

    The cooker appears to be near new yet manufactured probably more than 45 years ago. And it is the perfect Rival slow cooker model that Rival was famous for. I was so glad to replace my 45+ year old model when he went kaput.
