The listing said it was new, but the hand button did not seem to work at all when I opened the package. I specifically bought THIS listing for the sound as I already had a non working one at home. It was a Christmas gift, so there was no time to return it and buy another one. When contacted the seller said it worked when they made the listing, but if that is true how did it mysteriously stop working in the mail? I was essentially brushed off by the seller without even an apology.

Don't play the printer cartridge game if you can
I only bought this because my old Lexmark #50 printer cartridge stopped working. My old one I have been using for over 5 years. When it runs out of ink, I refill it with a bottle from my Nukcote refill kit I bought on ebay. I only print in black and white, so I don't think this applies to the color cartridges. I refuse to play the printer cartridge game set up by the manufactures. You might as well buy a new printer when your ink runs out. The cartridge costs as much as the printer. I did buy a newer printer a few years back but you can't refill the cartridges and the ones made by Lexmark are designed to self destruct if you try. This was told to me by my local refill shop. I know because I bought a Lexmark X2600 and the only print cartridges you can get for it are neew Lexmark ones. If ... I only bought this because my old Lexmark #50 printer cartridge stopped working. The value and quality for the money I paid is excellent. I paid about $8.95 including s&h. This same comparable ink cartridge would have cost me about $40.00 at MOST POPULAR DISCOUNT STORES AND OFFICE SUPPLY STORES. Even though it is a reconditioned cartridge, it will last in my printer just as long or even longer than a new name brand ink cartridge that I would pay 5 times more for. Dollar for dollar, I feel I have gotten a great deal on this quality product for the money it cost me.The value and quality for the money I paid is excellent. I paid about $8.95 including s&h.
