    paperport 14

    I've been using Paperport for years. It is an excellent scanning software. You can also save PDF files in the Paperport program files and type in edits. You can scan blank forms and type in information then save and/or print the form. It is a terrific filing software also. You can set up folders for tax records, receipts, personal photos, everything. Very to easy to use.

    This product is worthless.

    After several weeks, I still am unable to get the application to work. It renders a recurring DLL error that still is unresolved. It appears the product is buggy and is searching for an outdated DLL file. I have spent hours and hours online with both Nuance and my computers manufacturer trying to get the problems fixed all without luck. I finally gave up and bought other software since it appears PaperPort 14 will not run in Windows 10.

    Got it a week ago

    Still learning but very easy to add scanners and go thru the process. So far so good. I was using Neat software and scanner. It appears that Neat Company left their customers that don’t upgrade to the latest.

    Good Bad and Ugly. But it works.

    Lots of worry for nothing based on negative reviews I read. My issue is that use of prior versions was almost no help. Too many changes in design. Also this version is very slow. Don't try to use it with time constraints. You will get very frustrated.

    Ease of installation

    I have Windows 10, and I have a very large Ricoh printer. I've had multiple professional techs try to get this up and running, but so far, no deal. Will try one more time before I call it a loss. It's probably a great product on some other version of Windows and some other small printer.
