    Just what I needed.

    Variable grinds. Easy to pick the correct one. Only problem is no timer. I have to count the seconds. My old Bistro was more expensive but it had a timer. This unit works perfectly and is easy to clean and static is not a problem.

    Do Not Buy If You Drink Espresso

    This grinder seems to be well made for the money. The burr set is made of heavy metal, feels nicely made. The problem is it is not well designed for finely ground coffee. There is only one setting for espresso. So if you want to adjust espresso grind size you are out of luck. I managed to get the unit so clogged with finely ground coffee that that motor would not spin. It was difficult to clear the unit of coffee because I did not know how to remove the inner burr.

    Had to returned the grinder

    We had to return. The grind setting wheel was awkward, the ground coffee container released on its own and, after two pots, the grinder ceased to work altogether. There seemed to be no communication between the adjustment wheel and the grinding function. Looked good but did not work. Appeared to be a nice design, thus I rated it a 2, not 1, but this particular unit, at least, did not work.

    Not worth the trouble... blade grinders are every bit as good as far as taste to the average drinker.

    I've used a blade grinder for years, and have recently wondered if I was missing out as far as tasted by not having a burr grinder. Well, I can't tasted the difference, and this things is 5 times more inconvenient and 10 times more messy than my good old blade. It's simply not worth it at all. I gave it a week, and tried every trick I could come across re; the static... and the ground coffee going literally everywhere. Gone back to my $12 blade verion and I'm happy again.
