No other make shows remaining distance (in miles). That's what separates the Tomtom Start 55TM GPS from all other gps's. This is my 3rd one (2 cars). Tells me everything about the trip I need to know, displayed in the right color & size fonts. Huge plus, announces street names for necessary turns.

Its a good gps once your able to get new map on it
Once you get new map on it, works pretty good, once you get map on it, you have to re download voices and other updates. Once thats done. Its a good gos. Mine had very old maps with 55mph speed limits, its been 65mph for years on highways here. And was trying to take me on exits thats not there for years. After new maps, all is good now

Passable once you figure out how to use it. No directions enclosed.
Took awhile to figure out how to set and use. No direction sent with unit. At first I was going to toss out the window . Wife played with set up, finally figured it out. Next time I purchase something and NO Direction Booklet is Enclosed --- its going back the same hour I receive. Good, after learned how it functions. Down side could not program Sunoco gas stations. Would I purchase another one--not sure-- depends on how map up grade turns out.
