This is an amazing classic live album. I finally got the CD, having owned the vinyl for 40 years. While most of his biggest hits came after this album was released, Live Bullet has one of his best ever - "Turn the Page" - and others that rank right up there with the classics, like "Beautiful Loser," "Katmandu," and "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man." I regret never going to see Seger live in person. I know it a cliche, but this is definitely one to turn up to 11!

My Dad had the album and I always wanted to add "IT" to my own collection. I love the recorded live energy of the band and the 24,000 'crazy people' on September 4th & 5th, 1975 at Detroit's Cobo Hall. From Mr.Bob Seger's first, "Hey Detroit, yeah!" in Tina Turner's opening "Nutbush City Limits" to "You're a beautiful audience, good night!" in the "Let It Rock" closer, band and audience play off each other with a perfect balance. I can 'feel' the good vibes everytime I listen. Highlights include Seger's ramblings about a Rolling Stone article declaring Detroit audiences, "the greatest rock and roll audiences in the world." Bob continues, "I thought to myself, sh-t I've known that for ten years!" During my personal favorite "Heavy Music," Bob says,"We got the 16 track tape machine rolling out back, if you sing with me just a little bit I won't guarantee it but you just might end up on an album!" The crowd goes nuts! Interaction like this is what makes live music so special! You just don't get this kind of raw energy from studio albums. If you like live rock and roll music, you'll love "Live Bullet." Add it to your collection today!Read full review
It's Seger. It's live. He's in his homestate. What could be better? By this time in his career Bob had really hit his stride and was running at full bore. His band, the Silver Bullet Band, was in time, in tune, and in touch. Midwestern and Motor City rock and roll at it's best. I've worn my 2 record vinyl album set of this classic out over 20 years ago. About time I updated to some form of traveling music for this album. It's a must have. One of the best live albums ever for my money. I'm a fan. You will be too.
Perfect. Replaced a broken cd I had. Love Bob Seger.
