A simple and effective solution
I use a retired business computer for my personal computer. It is perfect for me in every way except for one - it has no Wi-Fi support. It was intended to be part of an ethernet system I ordered this adapter, received it quickly, and plugged it into an unused USB port on the back of my computer. Problem instantly solved! My computer recognized it, listed available Wi-fi networks and in moments I was going full speed ahead. Very happy camper here. I use a retired business computer for my personal computer. Very good price and fast delivery for a well working product.
It works very well within my house, a rather large house of wooden structure, which is what I bought it for. It comes with an installation CD and lists only Windows versions up to 10. I assume it is an older adapter. Small and unobtrusive. I don't know how it might work in a different environment, such as a concrete high rise.
