Great mount much cheaper than major brand name version.
This detector mount is high quality, has a large range of adjustment and is easy to mount and adjust. The thumb screw adjustment knobs make it easy and tool free to adjust position however they are also large enough that they can interfere with tightening at the limits of the adjustment range. If this was a problem I would have used lock nuts instead and easily solved the problem but I had enough room to tighten the knobs. Compared to a major well known brand of radar detector mount that blends the mount with the mirror this product is a real bargain.This detector mount is high quality, has a large range of adjustment and is easy to mount and adjust. Great for Uniden detector.
Great value compared to other alternatives. Took about 5 min to install. Came with Allen wrench. No instructions but it’s pretty easy to figure it out. My Uniden DFR7 fits good and locks up pretty snug on it. Make sure you have a round mirror shaft. I got one similar for a Beltronics for my Ram, but the square shaft made it difficult to install.

Great universal blind mount for Uniden R2
This mount is quick and easy to use and adjust. Works perfectly with the Uniden R3 radar detector. Awesome value for those wanting a rear view mirror blind mount.

Reflections on a R3 Mirror Mount
This rear view mirror mount for a Uniden R3 is a very sturdy product. It is all metal alloy and articulates at 2 pivot points between the actual mirror bracket and the radar unit itself. The factory mirror mount to the windshield is a plastic shaft that this R3 mount clamps onto. For an improved grip that allows less tension on the plastic shaft I put a small piece of rubber (bicycle inner tube) where the R3 mount clamps to the plastic. Seems to work well on a 2016 Sonata. I bought another one for a KIA Sedona and this arrangement works just as well on that, too.This rear view mirror mount for a Uniden R3 is a very sturdy product. Great R3 Mirror mount
Great mount. Holds well to the back of the mirror. Excellent product if you want to mirror tap your radar and keep it out of the sun. One thing that just bothers me is that the radar will shake up and down when you aren’t driving on the smoothest roads. Which causes the clip that goes in to the R3 to rattle. If the clip would be longer of thicker to reduce this rattle this product will 5 stars. But for the price it’s definitely worth checking out before you buy those name brand ones.Great mount.
