Hopeful But Disappointed
Incredibly blown highlights! Even at -.3 to -1 EV settings and base ISO. It is a known fact compacts have a hard time with contrasts. But this one is the worst I have ever come across. I have a VPC-T1495 that is much better. I do know some of the Sanyo cams had Sony sensors. I'm thinking this one does not! In the old days of 5 to 8 megapixal cameras many produced were very good and I was hoping the T850 would be one. I will just have to use it in cloudy weather.Incredibly blown highlights! Light weight and durable. Super fast start up. This camera does everything that a point-and-shoot should do. Buttons are big. The menus are easy. The zoom is smooth. I read that the zoom was not functional in movie mode, but was please to find that this is partially untrue. While in movie mode, the zoom will not work, but you can zoom in on a subject and then go to movie mode without loosing your zoom setting. If I was to be super critical of the camera, I could only make two comments- The flash is super bright, which has its plusses and minuses. It is great when you need it, but tends to wash out the subject too much in close situations while in auto white balance. The second is the picture settings are excessive. In my opinion, a point and shoot should have maybe six settings: outdoor, ... Light weight and durable. Super fast start up. This camera does everything that a point-and-shoot should do. This menu is the only one I do not like going to. To change the setting, you have to scroll through too many unnecessary choices to get to what you want. I wish I could delete about 10 of them. Other than that, you couldn't buy a better camera for the money. I never see Sanyo in reviews, but I have two different Sanyo cameras, and I like them both as well, and in some ways better than our Canon.

Great Little Camera!
I love this little camera! Its a great price and It works awesome. The pictures are crisp and clear, there are so many options to use. I like the self timer,and the fact that you can choose all sorts of different light conditions or weather conditions to make sure the pic looks best. Its small and lightweight, but the screen is plenty big enough to look through your photos. Its easy to learn, and easy to use. I would definetly recommend this camera to anyone looking for a new one!I love this little camera! Its a great price and It works awesome. Very cheap for a cute camera
I give that camera as a gift and my sister love it. She said its really easy to use and very cute camera.. I think for the price and the features of the camera i would recommend to buy it specially if your in a budget...
