its good for older tv's
I bought this one to replace one I had that I thought was failing after a upgrade to a new TV but the power draw difference was not enough to keep the sensing trigger active and when I tried to use the current sensing outlet and also trigger the switched outlet, I found that the switched outlet is triggered by the sensing outlet. so I could not use this for what I had planned.

Solid Problem Solver
The Niles APC 2 is essential for relay triggering. The use of a current sensing relay allows you to plug in a device into the current sensing outlet. then when that device turns on , it will either supply 12 volts or a contact closure. I used this one to trigger a TV lift inside a cabinet.
