  • Among Sir Paul's best

This is one of Sir Paul's first solo albums released after The Beatles broke up. It's a milestone in his career because it demonstrated his immense talent and the superb work he could produce on his own, sans John. But I bought it for the music, which includes some of his enduring classics. It brings back many memories in a charming, satisfying way.

  • Paul McCartney's best solo album since Band on the Run.

I have purchased this album in every form there is! Even though it is worth full price and would/have paid it again, I got a deal on it so I really feel like I got my money's worth. Although I have always been a Beatles fan, and especially Paul; not all of his solo albums have been great. By that, I mean from the first song on the album to the last. Band on the Run is one of those great albums in my opinion, and although it took him almost 10 years, Tug of War is another one. There is just not a bad song on it, and I guess it probably has something to do with George Martin producing it. Also, with Carl Perkins, Ringo and Stevie Wonder joining in, I guess it had to be pretty good. Forget Ebony and Ivory, the best song is Stevie and Paul' "What's That You're Doing?" It's one of the funkiest ...

  • Good but not great songs

Not Paul's greatest But some good songs on album. Best rocker is Ballroom Dancing.

  • Paul McCartney Tug of War

Tug of War reunites Macca with producer George Martin. Highlights include Here Today, Take it away and the title cut. I enjoy the album though I enjoy Paul more when he rocks it out in a band setting. I enjoy the live version of Here Today on Good Evening New York City more. Nice to see these talented gentlemen colaborate in 1982. A heavily produced record that could have mixed in a few more rockers.

  • Wanderlust

    One of Paul’s best.
