Seems to be exactly what I needed.
It's an exact brand replacement to what was on the dryer. Although it seems to have multiple part numbers, one matched my broken belt. It does fit the dryer, although it seemed pretty tight, as if it might be just a little short. But the spring loaded idler took up the small amount of slack. I guess that would allow for any future stretching?

Genuine factory replacement part at a good price
This replacement belt fits a range of Whirlpool and Kenmore dryers. The part is genuine Whirlpool, not a knockoff. It was less than half the price of the same part on the Sears site. The ordering process was seamless. The belt actually arrived a day early! Whirlpool didn't make replacing this belt easy, despite what the YouTube videos might say. You'll need to take the top and front of the cabinet off which means removing the door and part of the blower duct work. With the front off, the drum is only supported on the back and dangling unsupported on the front. If it comes off (mine did) the only way to get it back on is to put it to put the cabinet on it's back. Once you get the cabinet apart, the actual belt replacement is easy. Good OEM belt
Good OEM quality, well packaged. While many belts are listed as equivalent, I chose this model because it is a bit wider than others and closer to the original one on a series 80 Kenmore dryer.

Good replacement belt at a great price
This belt was slightly wider and longer than the original belt that it replaced. It also has one more rib than the original. However, these differences didn't have any negative effect on its operation. The motor's pulley is wide enough to accommodate it and the idler pulley takes up the slack on the extra length. To top it off, the price was half what Sears wanted.

Good belt so far
Worked as expected. The belt was impossible to install until I decided to remove the front cover to reach the pulley. Three hands are need to hold the drum while your install the belt.
