One of the best purchases. I got this for my DT 990 Pros and a huge difference between plug-in to this and plug into my PC. It's a night a day difference. It's more loud, I can add more base to my sound and that volume I usually have it around half or even just under half to have enough sound. A tight fight on connectors
The unit is effective at what it's supposed to do, if you can live with uber tight connectors and jacks that is. The charging port fits so tightly around the C connector cable provided, that the inside female jack almost pulled out entirely upon trying to disconnect it. Same holds true for the 3.5 mm headphone jack. Works well if you don't plan on disconnecting it frequently moving it around from one room to another. cheap but a beast
After using it for 2 days so far I have nothing but positive things to say about this dac/amp. Really works well with my Edifier S1000DB speakers. Just had to put it under the analogue setting instead of digital (Ubuntu) for that great sound. If you're like me and love music but are on a strict budget I definitively recommend this. Love the treble and bass knobs. I adjust them depending on what kind of music I'm listening to. My setup Thinkpad Laptop - DAC/Amp - SpeakersAfter using it for 2 days so far I have nothing but positive things to say about this dac/amp. Really works well with my Edifier S1000DB speakers.
