Great price! Fast shipping with great communication! Units are well built and sound pretty good. At first they seem to be a bit closed in with weak deep base, but they open up quite a bit once the tubes have some hours on them. Beware! When removing a tight fitting RCA plug, the socket can actually be pulled apart on this pre-amp. Connections that are not overly tight should not be an issue. I am happy with my purchase of these Preamplifiers and the seller was great to do business with.

Although it doesn't state a phono input .. That's what I'm using it for.. with the ground from turntable it works great with minimal line noise. May upgrade the tubes later on. Works great for now.

Cute little preamp/switching unit.
Great looking little unit. The dancing VU meter IS pretty cool. Smaller than I expected. Good quality box and switches. Does it mellow the sound as a tube pre-amp is supposed to? I'm not sure. I'm no tube head, but true tubers swear that the brand/make of tubes matter. With only a few hours on the tubes, this unit with the (cheap Soviet) stock tubes might be a bit brighter than without? Nice addition to one of my stereo systems in my office. Works well...
I needed a switchbox, so the preamplification was a plus. It's even more flexible by having an additional output. It also help with the over modulation from other digital media being that I'm also using an equalizer. It's easy keeping a clean output with the 3 output controls. Looks great too. I'll be back for for another.

Great little preamplifier!
Works VERY well with my JBL amplified speakers and a Rotel cassette deck. A bit too powerful to be used as input for an integrated amplifier however. Use as preamplifier for basic amplifier or amplified speakers. The included tubes seem to glow differently from each other (most likely caused by tube sensitivity or positioning of actual heaters within the tube). I purchased two of these, and both work great! I am going to tube roll one of these preamplifiers today.Works VERY well with my JBL amplified speakers and a Rotel cassette deck.
