I thought I'd try this version of the clear 2.5" external drive enclosure even though it has a slightly different configuration than the original ones I bought (Specifically because of price).
The former unit have the connector on the edge of the enclosure, while these have the connector centered in the middle. Otherwise identical (though I find the newer ones are a few microns tighter the thicker 2.5" drives. For thinner (newer drives and solid state drives) this will not be a problem.

When first ordered, inadvertently gave an incorrect mail address, had to cancel; seller promptly adjusted the order. Placed 2nd order immediately with correct address & the item was received within a week. The item's description was extensive but when rec'd there was no detail on its use, i.e. 360 degree head rotation, "chuck" has magnet to pick up metal items. Hope the function is not compromised by being a foldable item.
