For the price and my needs, they work just fine.
These speakers are on a boat that is being used for weekend recreation. Sound is not crucial and for the cost they are about as good a speaker you can expect. I would recommend a higher end speaker if you really want to impress everyone or if you live aboard. For sound on the water at a budget cost these do plenty fine. I do wish I could have found smaller speakers. I did have a set of cheap speakers that were a little bit smaller but the sound was not as clear as these. Know that smaller means less sound. Total crap!
Running straight to a single din radio with 20 watts and one speaker is blown already. Both grills are rusting and the screws that hold the speakers in are starting to. Nothing marine about these speakers. I would avoid these unless you use them indoors and nothing over 5 watts.
