Could be sturdier
This is a good unit. It works just as required. Intuitive to set up and operate. However, the reason I am only giving it a four star review is that the metal base could be a little more sturdy. I know this would make it heavier, but that would be offset by the knowing that the base would not bend while cleaning and other non-stationary tasks (like relocating from one counter to another for cleaning).This is a good unit. Heats up quickly. Heat recovers quickly after putting the food in the hot oil. It's deep enough that it doesn't splatter all over the place.
