Sturdy, close to wall, allows horizontal adjustment on studs
This wall mount is great to mount my 65 inch Sony in my bedroom. I went with this one because it allowed me to mount to the studs and still be able to adjust right and left to be perfectly centered with my bed. It pulls away from the wall enough to access the ports and plugs. It snaps back close to the wall so I can't see all the stuff behind the TV. There is just enough space for my DIRECTV Stream box. It is the perfect mount for this setting. The eBay price was enough lower than the Sony price, so I could justify it. I'm glad I did. Nice wall mount - Challenging installation.
It doesn't assemble like any other "universal" type wall mount that I have used... the TV bracket actually bolts to the wall bracket. This means that it cannot be installed by a single individual... multiple people will be required. In my case, THREE because it was a big TV. Once up, the wall mount system provides an excellent natural viewing position and offers a large amount of adjustment for viewing angle if needed. All in all, the quality of this wall mount system is excellent. It is rather pricey compared to many universal mounting systems, but being designed for a specific TV, it is expected to come with a premium price. Expensive but worth it
I bought this to mount my 75” Sony TV and definitely the best bracket i have used. 2 person job for a TV of this size but it went up easily and provides a slim mount and provides easy access.
