Loved this show...was there from day 1 and was there when it had its finale...15 years later! Every season is captivating and has you glued to the TV screen to find out what happens next! The characters, forensic science techniques, cases, etc...are superb and there will never be another show like this...despite all the knock-offs. I love the first 9 or 10 DVD sets as they have the crime scene tape around the set. Starting around season 11 or so this is dropped. But, this season 5 set is still sporting the tape...awesome!Loved this show...was there from day 1 and was there when it had its finale...15 years later! All of the CSI episodes are great! In the fifth season, Nick gets buried alive, among many other exciting things. These characters become your "friends." It takes a special cast and very special writers for people to become involved in the everyday life of a CSI. My wife likes Grissom. I told my wife that if Katherine ever wanted me, I would be gone! She just laughed hysterically and then said "If Katherine wants you, I could never compete, so, go for it!" I watched CSI from the first episode. My wife didn't really get into it til around the fourth season. Now, she's a bigger CSI freak and geek than I am! Trust me.
