    good and economical replacement battery

    I'm very pleased so far with my UpStart Garmin replacement battery. Battery life has improved by a factor of five to ten over the tired original. I'd give it five stars, but can't because I've used the battery only a short time and can't evaluate how long (months or years) this battery will work well.

    Very Short Life - Poor Runtime

    Brand new and in use for only 1 month now - Not an expensive replacement but the actual working time of the battery is under 2 hours before it needs recharging again. Not useful at all for GPS hiking, biking or anywhere without AC power available for constant charging.

    garmin nuvi 265W replacement battery

    battery works great. A little tricky to install. Old one was glued in. Without tool to open case, you need a tiny flat screwdriver to GENTLY pry around the case perimeter to get it open.

    Battery did not work in my device it was recommended for

    After simple installation in my Garmin Nuvi 250, the unit would power up but would not function. I tried plugin and fully charging, ... even after that and a reboot, my device would not function. Left message on the phone number on the battery package, no ones called back.
