Why Does NAC Smell So Awful?
This is an excellent product: quality is good, pill strength excellent, added taste helps tremendously, so I recommend this brand and will buy again. However, there is something about NAC in that it just smells awful, yet is good for you. I've bought from other high quality producers, and found them as bad, or worse. I think Horbaach has done the best they could with flavoring each pill, so I give them high marks for the effort, but keep your nose away from the open bottle. The pills go down easily, and the smell is minimized, although when in a group in a closed bottle... peeuuu! I won’t do business with them again I ordered two bottles of vitamins they only sent one, they should have come together in a package because the invoice had both items, they said it was two shipments but it only had one tracking number!! They refuse to fix this!!

This NAC is truly superior to any other brands I have tried. I read some reviews saying it smells bad, but I never noticed it. Anyway, all vitamins have somewhat of a bad smell, but once again, it's really not noticeable, I swallow it, I don't shove it up my nose! It's a high potency high quality product. Don't let any "nit picking" reviews stop you from getting this. I'm glad I wasn't swayed by them. so this is a great value versus price, no complaints there...but....know that these are uncoated caplets---but the benefit of this supplement outweigh the smell. Reason I writing this is because, NAC uncoated caplet form can be irritating to the digestive tract of some users. I experienced some stomach/gastro discomfort so I needed to half the caplet for daily intake. Few will experience this but worth mentioning if you have a sensitive gut.so this is a great value versus price, no complaints there...but....know that these are uncoated caplets---but the benefit of this supplement outweigh the smell. Reason I writing this is because, NAC uncoated caplet form can be irritating to the digestive tract of some users. I experienced some stomach/gastro discomfort so I needed to half the caplet for daily intake. Few will experience this but worth mentioning if you have a sensitive gut.
