The FinePix S2000HD is the first Fujifilm model to offer full compatibility with High Definition Television (HDTV) systems for both stills and movies.The FinePix S2000HD is a compact and lightweight 10-megapixel digital camera with an incredible 15x optical zoom lens. Packed with technology and features, the HD output on this model allows the camera to display ultra clear high definition photographs and movies on HDTV.The FinePix S2000HD features Fujifilm's Dual Image Stabilization mode, which combines a mechanically stabilized Super CCD sensor with high ISO sensitivities, for total anti-blur protection. The combination of these technologies reduces the blurring effect of both hand-shake and subject movement even further to provide the highest quality digital pictures yet, with sharp, clean and clear results no matter what the shooting conditions.Red-eye is the single biggest reason why the best portraits are ruined. The FinePix S2000HD uses Face Detection technology to find and instantly correct any red-eye from every face in the frame as the shot is taken. The system on the FinePix S2000HD will only correct redness in the pupil of the eye, not elsewhere in the picture, because the camera uses eye detection within face detection to find the pupil. While other cameras can sometimes convert lips or red jewelry to brown or blue, the FinePix S2000HD never gets it wrong.

    Good value for what I paid !

    Fuji makes great equipment and as long as these cameras haven't been abused they hold their value. The camera was well packaged What I received is in nice shape. Only thing I would have liked to see in my package is the plug for downloading my photos.

    Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD 10.0 Megapixel

    I purposely waited before reviewing this camera. The camera has nice functionality and ease of use. I have not had lens cap issues as others have mentioned in their reviews. I did however find some focusing issues. If this camera has it, I have not found a manual focus. Only the automatic but you can trick the focus with a halfway press of the shutter button. The zoom motor is quite fast. That makes it difficult to get the precise zoom level easily but it is possible. The big issue I have is there is no Battery Life Indicator until just before it decides not to take any more pictures. There is no way of testing battery life until the batteries are almost done. So a full set of spare charged batteries in my pocket is a must. On the plus side of this the camera is not as much of a ...

    Easy To Use / Not Out of Date

    PROS: Camera is great for all needs. Easy to use and software friendly. Light and sturdy with a grip makes taking pictures more ergonomic. Plenty of functions to choose from for that perfect picture. SLR Camera feel and quality CONS: won my Camera for $170 with free shipping....Went to a Walmart a few days after receiving it and saw the same Camera for only $210...Best to shop around when buying anything but better when you research New VS Used prices as well...(Including current and previous sale prices) Give this Camera a solid B+

    More than excellent.

    Small but very fast and wonderful picture image. I have two Nikons and Two Canons of more than 10 Megapixels each and most times I rely on this one instead of these. My Nikon D-3300 takes 8 pictures with flash..one every 5 seconds and then takes about 20 seconds to be ready to shot again. This one does NOT take time in between shots. I recommend it for anybody needing a good camera.

    A great camera that will last!

    Fuji just keeps getting better and better. upgraded to this from my 7.1 s series and where it lacked before its made up for in leaps and bounds. I'm no professional but I can get professional pictures out of this camera. My subjects never sit still and lighting is rarely perfect. I take pictures of horses and wildlife. Its an amazing camera for the price. I had my old one for over 3 years and I'm TERRIBLE with anything fragile. i didnt replace my old one because of damage but simply because I wanted an upgrade to see how this camera performed and it was way better than I expected.
