yep this will work great, it's not as stiff as I expected but that totaly my fault for not noticing the "silicon insulation" as described, and it's still gona work perfectly for my needs, I only needed a spool of 18 or 16 Guage to make a bunch of custem 12v runs from a server psu breakout to the various appliances I'm running of that 12v supply and others after a boost to 19v and a couple to 5v after a buck convert, this will work great
