    Great PCI card for TV on PC !!

    This card was installed on an XPS-8500 w/ 32 GB of memory. The important items to remember for great performance is plenty of memory, and a good antenna system with good signal levels. Before testing this card, meet these requirements and you will have a great experience. I recommend the "signal level" add - program too, if you need to trouble shoot an antenna system. SO far this card has preformed better than expected. Much better !

    This Card Works As Expected

    I wanted to build a DVR from a used computer that I bought at a salvage sale, which required a TV tuner card. This one was among the ones I found on eBay. I did a little online research into this particular model, compared it to the others I saw, compared the prices, and decided to go with this one. Physical installation of the card was totally straightforward. Since I had internet access when I started to install the WinTV software, it was able to tell me that there was a newer version available, which I opted to install. So far, I've had absolutely zero issues with the card itself. There are a couple minor drawbacks with the WinTV software, but they're more nuisances than deal breakers. Firstly, there doesn't seem to be a way to resize the menus within WinTV, so trying to use them on a ...
