    Literally can be a life saver!

    Bought my first metric converter from university bookstore; becuase other pre med/nsg students were loving it.Saves time when you need to figure doseages /weights/temps ect.Nice to have for double checking orders.I still have my fisrt model(purchased in 1990)& haven't had any problems with it...even after my puppy chewed the bottom left corner loosening the faceplate!When I used this @ work co-workers were wanting one too...searched for years;found this model (which does even more!) on ebay & ordered one for myself (just in case my first one ever fails)& one for my friend / coworker.She too sings it's praises!No one ever wants to make a med error...especially when children are involved & it's just reassuring to have a reliable instrument to double check our orders.

    Good instrument for an old man

    The ability to transfer figures from US to metric and back is the main feature for me. It is a very good pocket calculator those who don't like using that app on a smart phone.

    Handy metric conversion calculator

    My husband had a similar calculator he used for years when he was doing construction in Africa. It finally became unreliable because the digital readout began to go bad. He wanted to replace it, and this was a very similar product, though made by a different company. He is very happy with it. If you need to do metric conversions, this is a great tool.
