Not working properly
Installed this as a direct replacement to an identical control that was not working properly. The previous unit would only signal the humidifier unit to function on the test/reset dial setting. Unfortunately this replacement does not send power to the humidifier at all, even on the test/reset setting. Note both were being run in manual mode with no outdoor temp sensor. I need to troubleshoot further, maybe my problem is somewhere else. I was hoping for a plug and play replacement to get the humidifier unit functional again.Installed this as a direct replacement to an identical control that was not working properly. direct replacement for TRANE humidistat
It's direct replacement for the TRANE Auto/manual humidity controller. Plus it comes with the outdoor temp monitor. Becareful where you place the outdoor sensor, because if it doesn't sense a temp lower than 60° F or 15.5°C the humidistat won't avtivate your humidifer!
