This nonelectric Carpet head is as advertised and works with my 28 year old White Pearl model 434i (the original carpet head has been lost). The Unit is new in box and was shipped promptly. The only complaint was in the packaging for shipping. The carpet head is loose in the manufacturers box and that box was placed loosely in a larger carton. By the time it went thru the delivery process, the carpet sweeper was loose in the shipping carton. Thankfully there was no damage.
